                    GURU PURNIMA

The 16 July of every year is marked as guru purnima, a spiritual tradition in Hindu religion that is dedicated to spiritual and academic teachers, who have taught us something or selflessly helped us through a problem in life. 

It is also believed that Guru Purnima was the day Lord Buddha gave his first sermon, which is why he is also worshiped on this day.

Independence Day, in India, national holiday celebrated annually on August 15. Independence Day marks the end of British rule in 1947 and the establishment of a free and independent Indian nation.
